Jackpot di HONGKONG (HK)



Bekas koloni Inggris ini termasuk daerah SAR (Special Administrative Region), sehingga tidak perlu visa untuk masuk. Wilayah HK terbagi menjadi 4 kawasan yaitu Lantau Island (airport ada disini), New Territories, Kowloon dan HK Island. Semua kawasan ini terhubung dengan MTR dan bisa dijangkau dengan ferry.

Begitu landing saya langsung mendapat jaringan  free wifi di HK airport, dan ternyata HK sangat memanjakan kita dengan koneksi wifi gratis dimana-mana.Setelah bertemu Dina dan Nisa yg terbang dari KL, kita menuju hotel dengan taksi. Ongkos taksi cukup mahal, dari Airport ke hotel di kawasan Kowloon kita bayar HK$300. Sebetulnya kurang dr segitu tapi krn dia bilang harus bayar toll dll serta kendala bahasa kita bayar aja segitu, dan ternyata itu harga normal kalo menurut brosur resmi.

Kita menginap di USA Hostel yang terletak di Mirador Mansion, daerah Kowloon.  Lokasinya sangat strategis dekat dengan  MTR Tsim Tsa Tsui (exit D/N5), Star Ferry Pier, dan walking distance ke Avenue of Star, HK Museum of Art, HK Space Museum serta Clock Tower. Malam itu kita sampai hotel sekitar jam 9pm. Menurut petunjuk htl kita terletak di lantai 13 di Mirador Mansion yang bentuknya flat atau ruko. Di lantai bawah pertokoan, di atas adalah flat2 yang dipakai sbg guest house atau hostel. Begitu naek ke atas terasa sekali suasana padat flat dan agak kumuh. Receptionist USA Hostel ada di Lt.13, tapi kamar kita di Lt.7, pertama memang agak membingungkan mencari lokasinya. Harga twin beds room selama dua malam IDR700an, karena kita datang bertiga mereka minta tambahanan HK$200 dan tidak bisa upgrade kamar krn semua penuh. Walhasil, dua malam Dina dan Nisa mesti tidur mesra. Overall, USA hostel memuaskan, kamarnya bersih meski kecil, hot shower dan ada dispenser air di luar kamar. Hotel juga menyediakn free wifi.

Setelah kelar urusan check in, kita bertiga jalan2 ke Avenue of Star menikmati angin dan gemerlap bangunan HK. Avenue of Star ini untuk mengabadikan bintang2 film mandarin terkenal, tapi tetep aja banyak yg kita kenal kecuali nama2 spt Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat, Stephen Chow. Sayang sekali kita tidak sempat menikmati permainan lampu HK (Symphony of Lights) yang berlangsung setiap jam 8pm dan dapat disaksikan dari kawasan ini. Pulang ke hotel, kita menyusuri Canton Road, Harbour City yang sepanjang jalannya berjejer toko2 branded internasional. Sampai hotel kaki kita lumayan pegal, maka dimulailah ritual sebelum tidur..gosok2 minyak tawon, kebayang kamar kita baunya kayak panti jompo aja hahaha
Besoknya, kita sepakat menuju tempat terjauh yaitu patung Budha raksasa (Tin Tan Budha Statue). Dari MTR Tsim Tsa Tsui (red line) interchange di Laiking ke Tung Chung (orange line) sampailah di cable car Ngong Ping 360 yang buka jam 10am-6pm (weekdays) atau jam 9am-6.30pm (weekend). Tiket cable car pp HK$125 untuk kabin biasa. Antrian untuk naek cable car ini panjaaang banget, makanya hindari weekend kalo mau kesini ya! Sekitar 30menitan kita menikmati HK dr atas, sampailah di Ngong Ping Village. Disini ada the Bodhi Tree (tp bukan pohon asli lagi) tempat Siddarta dulu bermeditasi, kita bisa make a wish disini. Untuk sampai di Giant Budha kita harus naek tangga yang langsung melemaskan lutut melihatnya, jadi kita hanya foto2 aja di bawah, selain ga sanggup naek udara saat itu cukup panas. Alasan kaki juga, kita ga mampir ke Po Lin Monestary.

Tujuan berikutnya adalah Causeway Bay, shopping district di HK Island. Tapi sebelumnya kita mampir numpang foto di Disneyland (MTR Tung Chung turun di Sunny Bay lanjung MTR Disneyland).

Keluar dari MTR Causeway Bay langsung disambut hiruk pikuk manusia di area Times Square. Ramainya bener2 mirip suasana di Times Square HK. Sepanjang jalan kita banyak ketemu orang Indonesia (tepatnya wong Jowo). Kawasan ini, terutama Victoria Park memang jd ajang gaul para pahlawan devisa.  
Yang paling menggembirakan saya adalah ketemu IKEA yaaaay... langsung ngucap pait pait paaaaiitt...

Dari sini kita naek Tram menuju Garden road tempat The Peak Tram. Sesuai namanya, the Peak betul2 menjadi peak perjalanan saya. Menuju Garden road jalannya agak mendaki, di tengah udara yang panas cukup membuat ngos2an juga. Begitu sampai Peak Tram, ampuun antriannya mengekor sepanjang-panjang umat. Dehidrasi mulai menyerang, kepala nyut2an..akhirnya setelah 2.5jam berjuang tiba giliran kita naek Tram menuju the Peak. Jalan menuju Peak betul2 curam, hebat juga tram kayu kuno ini bisa mencapai puncaknya. Sampai di the peak, penderitaan saya akhiri dengan JACKPOT yaaay...

 Di Peak kita tidak masuk ke museum lilin Madam Tussaud, selain mahal tiketnya temen saya bilang banyak artis mandarinnya, yaah maap deh kalo ga kenal.

Seharusnya di the Peak ini kita bisa menikmati keindahan HK dr sky terracenya, tapi saat itu hujan lebat dan body lemah jadi kita kurang begitu menikmatinya. Lucunya, ketika dinner disini kita pean fried rice dan egg. Ternyata bahasa Inggris plus body language Dina menghasilkan sepiring nasi putih (mungkin digoreng) disiram kecap dan 3 telur dadar,..laaah mana nasgor kebul kebul angetnya??? Pulangnya kita naek bis tingkat krn ga sanggup mengular antri di tram di tengah hujan. Betul-betul penuh perjuangan menuju puncak! Ingat, jangan kesini kala weekend!!!
Sampai MTR Central sudah jam 9 lebih, terlambat lagi deh nonton Symphony of Lights. Ya sudah pasrah kita menuju Temple Street Night Market. Dengan MTR red line, kita turun di MTR Jordan. Masih di tengah rintik deras hujan malam, Dina-Nisa semangat belanja manakala saya hanya ngucap pait pait paitttt hahaha.

Sudah menjelang tengah malam kita jalan menuju hotel yang ternyata jaraknya cukup untuk mengubah kaki kita sekeras singkong! Sampai hotel, ritual gosokan minyakpun berlanjut...


Bagi saya, HK, meskipun cantik kala malam hari, cukup sebagai kota yang pernah dikunjungi saya..tidak masuk dalam list "harus kesini lagi"..
